A fine weekend of Fire and Ice was promised by Tolmers Scout Activity Centre and those who braved it had a great weekend of activities and, of course, fire and ice!
The weather was quite bracing and checking our food supplies in the morning was quite amusing as everything outside the “coolbox” was frozen.
Our small group of Scouts had a brilliant time with activities ranging from quad biking to rifle shooting and archery and even bumper cars and funfair rides!
The secret to enjoying winter camp is preparation. Layers of clothes, good food and of course good friends!
