You can see the ears pricking and noses twitching when a cake is being unboxed. Suddenly there is a mighty charge and the last person gets the crumbs...
Abseiling
The anticipation leads to a lot of nail biting. You need to hold your nerve. The adults can do it on their heads though!
Life at Camp
Life at camp is wonderful when the weather is with you. Cricket, hikes, tuck shop, and the odd siesta!
Cotswold Wildlife Park
We spent a lovely day the Cotswold Wildlife Park. Lots of critters to admire and occasionally a game of trying to get back at Paul
Climbing
Same problems as abseiling but this time you need the muscles to drag yourself up the tower. Great exercise for the 70 year old scouts
Marshmallows
Relaxation time at the campfire and a chance to toast some marshmallows before bedtime. By this time the dirt is really beginning to show on some boys!
Closing Ceremony
Finally it's time to go home but traditionally there are awards for the best newcomer and the winning patrol leader.
