24 of our Cubs and Beavers went along and enjoyed themselves thoroughly at the Very Excellent CuBeaver Jambo put on by the GLSW County team.
THE CUBEAVER JAMBO

On the 11th of June 2011 we went to the cubeaver jambo. Most of the jambo consisted of really just a funfair. There were plenty of things to do including a space hopper assault course , a simulater of a plane and a bungee run other things were also just as good.
The best bit of this experience was that you could run about and do whatever you wanted and adults did not follow you! There was even a radio station that played cool music and shout outs to win prizes such as mugs and T-shirts. There was a shop where you could buy sweets, drinks and toys!
After 1h 40mins of fun playing on rides we headed back towards the old brown bridge to the Croydon tent grabbed our lunch and started to eat. Everyone had packed a big lunch including drinks, sandwiches and most of all snacks!!!
There was a very weird man who did some stuff with a grand bird who flew about and because of this he became lost. Eventally when most of the cubs and beavers left they managed to find ruby (the bird) who had perched somewhere on the ground far away.
After lunch some left for more excitement as some stayed to watch the birds but as we left lots of things were starting to shut so people headed towards the reptile house . In the reptile hut there was a huge bow con stricter called Gina . Also there was a reptile that mostley cubs held and beavers alwell.
Then some people also went to the shop to buy either sweets fizzy drinks or cuddly toys.but unfortunately we had to go back to the coaches that would take us home.It was a very nice place to be on a Saturday.
