9th Purley Scout Group

The cubs had a great day at the Baloo Trophy and as you can see - so did the leaders. As you may have heard we had a day of mixed results with our senior team coming 15th and our junior team coming 3rd!

Nonetheless, the day was an outstanding success for us as both teams enjoyed their day Scouting.

The Baloo Trophy is the oldest Cubs Trophy in Croydon District and consists of a series of activities and challenges where Cubs show off their skills while running around having fun in the woods. The event is usually run at Bears Wood and is always a great laugh for the kids and their leaders.

The event is entirely organised by the District Team and they do a fabulous job of providing us with a wonderful day out. Our thanks for their hard work and also for their forethought in booking good for us once again.
